Yes, in my little western North Carolina mountains town, I have known numerous Mexicans that are LEGAL.

One of the first Mexican businesses was started at least 20 years ago and today it is still a thriving Mexican restaurant. Both the owners boy and girl have attended and graduated from our high school and when not pursuing their academic studies help run the restaurant.

Another very successful Mexican is my neighbor, who specializes in doing beautiful magnificent stone walls like he has around his home. Through the years he has successfully invested in properties on his street and renovated several of the homes.

Recently we needed a tree taken down on our apartment complex property. The manager hired a Mexican firm, who did the job quickly and efficiently.

Our local church runs English classes for new Spanish residents as my friend's wife is in the current class.

Do we have ILLEGALS? Yes. as our sheriff told the local Republican Women’s Club that he estimates that there are at least ONE THOUSAND ILLEGALS in our county currently. Needless to say ICE is way to busy to come here.

Maybe some of them will return to their country or decide to begin legal process to become LEGAL.
